Alan Walker joins SZIN 2025 lineup

Szeged’s Coca-Cola SZIN Festival has added Norwegian-British DJ and producer Alan Walker to its 2025 lineup, organizers announced this week.

Walker joins a growing list of international acts set to perform at the end-of-summer event, including Lost Frequencies, Becky Hill, Meduza, Sam Feldt, and Carpetman.

Walker rose to global fame in 2015 with his debut single Faded. Over the past decade, he has played more than 650 shows and appeared at major festivals including Coachella and Tomorrowland. He has more than 115 million followers across platforms, 12 billion views on YouTube, and a combined 50 billion audio and video streams.

The DJ, known for wearing a face-covering mask during performances, made headlines last year when he appeared on stage without it for the first time. The moment has fueled speculation about potential changes in his image or performances, especially with Faded marking its 10th anniversary this year. The song has racked up 3.7 billion views on YouTube to date.

SZIN organizers also revealed 50 new Hungarian acts as part of the announcement. The list includes Krúbi, Csaknekedkislány, Pogány Induló, Margaret Island, Majka, and Irie Maffia, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025.

The 2025 Coca-Cola SZIN Festival will take place in Szeged between Aug. 27 and 30.
