SZIN 2026 kicks off Wednesday with more than 200 performers
The Coca-Cola SZIN Festival returns to Szeged this week, bringing more than 200 performers to the banks of the Tisza from Aug. 26–29, with DJ Snake and Swae Lee among the international headliners.
The four-day festival will take over the Partfürdő in Újszeged, with more than a dozen stages and program venues featuring pop, rock, rap, electronic music, folk and other genres. Gates open at noon Wednesday.
The opening-day lineup underwent a last-minute change after British indie-pop band Bastille canceled its scheduled Szeged performance because of illness affecting the band’s lead singer. Hungarian singer Magdi Rúzsa will take their place as Wednesday’s headliner on the Coca-Cola Main Stage, organizers announced.
Rúzsa joins a Wednesday lineup that also includes Tamás Molnár, Manuel and Halott Pénz on the main stage. Honeybeast, Bruno x Spacc, KKevin and ValMar are among those appearing on the bp Main Stage, while the SZTE Stage will host 6363, Bohemian Betyars, Parno Graszt and Depresszió.
International headliners take the stage later in the week
Thursday’s Coca-Cola Main Stage lineup includes Follow The Flow, DESH and Azahriah, while Quimby and Carson Coma are among the acts scheduled for the bp Main Stage. Lil Frakk, Csaknekedkislány, 30Y and Co Lee will perform on the SZTE Stage.
French producer DJ Snake will headline Friday’s program, following Ivan & The Parazol, ByeAlex és a Slepp and Majka on the Coca-Cola Main Stage.
Elsewhere Friday, Punnany Massif, Mirror Glimpse and Beton.Hofi will perform on the bp Main Stage, while Galaxisok, Sisi, Viki Lábas and Analog Balaton are scheduled for the SZTE Stage. The day’s lineup also includes Csík Zenekar, Random Trip, Anima Sound System and AWS.
American rapper and singer Swae Lee will close the Coca-Cola Main Stage program Saturday, following performances by Pogány Induló and Dzsúdló.
The final day will also feature Blahalouisiana, L.L. Junior, T.Danny, BSW és a Gang, OG Fluor and Necc Party on the bp Main Stage. Esti Kornél, Bëlga and Elefánt will close out this year’s SZIN on the SZTE Stage, while Szeged-based Gypo Circus will be among the performers on the Fonó World Music Stage.
Beyond the major stages, the festival program spans electronic music, hip-hop, alternative music and folk, with performances continuing into the early hours across the Partfürdő.
New SZIN app helps festivalgoers navigate the venue
Organizers have also launched a redesigned SZIN mobile app for this year’s festival. The free app allows festivalgoers to set notifications for selected performances, navigate the Partfürdő using an interactive map and receive festival updates in real time.
Demand for tickets remains high, according to organizers, who said Monday that 98% of festival passes had already been sold. Discounted advance day tickets remain available through the festival’s official website until midnight Tuesday, Aug. 25.
