Editorial Principles


The Szegedify online magazine applies the following editorial principles:

News and events:

We share all news and events in an objective way, free from influence or bias. The magazine follows the principles of independent and ethical journalism.

Guest posts:

Please note that we reserve the right to edit all text we receive to suit the style of the website. Copyright of the text and photos we receive stays with the original author/photographer, and we give clear credits on the website. In very rare cases, if the material we get does not meet our standards, we reserve the right to refuse to publish it.

Reviews:

The reviews and recommendations on the site may reflect the subjective editorial opinion of Szegedify’s editor-in-chief. Owners and service providers may request to read the copy pre-publishing and are welcome to request the correction of factual mistakes, if any. Any other type of request for correction or attempts to influence the content of the final copy is unacceptable.

Paid promotions:

Paid promotions, like PR articles, can only be published with a red “sponsored content” tag. 

Sponsors:

Main sponsors of the Szegedify website will appear on the homepage. The sponsors of sub-sections will appear on the landing page of that section (e.g.: … company (logo), sponsor of the Szegedify … section).

Comments:

In order to build a community, we welcome comments on our social channel(s). In order to maintain a clean look and distraction-free reading experience, commenting on the website is not possible.

We moderate the comments in line with our editorial principles, ethics, and mission statement. Discriminatory and hate speech is not allowed on our channels.
