Goodwill Pharma shares to list on Budapest Stock Exchange next week

The Budapest Stock Exchange will list the common shares of the Szeged-based Goodwill Pharma next Friday, according to a resolution published on the exchange’s website on Thursday.

The listing includes 107,175,445 shares, each with a face value of 10 forints. The shares, which are of indefinite maturity, will be traded in the exchange’s Standard category. The first trading day will coincide with the date of listing.

Founded in 1997, Goodwill Pharma has been part of BÉT Xtend — a platform for mid-sized companies — since 2022. The company specializes in pharmaceutical logistics and distribution, regulatory registration, pharmaceutical marketing, medical drug promotion, brand and manufacturing representation, and the development and sale of its own medicines and dietary supplements.

Goodwill Pharma exports to several countries in the region and operates multiple foreign subsidiaries.

The company reported revenue of more than 13.2 billion forints ($36 million) in 2022 and nearly 15 billion forints ($41 million) in 2023. Net profit rose from 1.49 billion forints to 1.53 billion forints over the same period, according to its issuer presentation published on the exchange’s website.
