Imagining Peace Poster Competition and Exhibition 2022

The U.S. Embassy Moscow, together with the Forum for Cultural Engagement (FCE), announced a peace poster competition and exhibition titled Imagining Peace, in observance of September 21, the United Nations International Day of Peace.

The Imagining Peace poster competition invites art students and professional artists from around the world to submit poster designs to commemorate this day dedicated to fostering world peace.

Submission deadline is 11:59 PM EDT on Sunday, September 18, 2022. All entrants must be over the age of eighteen.

The competition will culminate in virtual and live exhibitions curated by Angelina Lippert, Chief Curator of Poster House in New York City.

Awards will be announced in two categories: student artist designs and professional artist designs. Winners of the peace poster competition will be invited to travel to New York City and Washington, DC with all expenses paid to be interviewed about their artwork and to meet with cultural and diplomatic leaders. If the winning artists are unable to travel, they will be offered the opportunity to conduct interviews and meetings online.
