Slovenian Film Day at Belvárosi Mozi

The Slovenian Film Day will be held at Belvárosi Mozi in Szeged on Friday, May 24, 2024.

With the support of Europa Cinemas and Creative Europe Media, the movie theaters of four neighboring countries cooperate to bring the cinema closer to the young audience and at the same time promote European films.

In the frame of this cooperation the Serbian Bioskop Eurocinema, the Croatian Kino Velebit, the Slovenian Mestni Kino Ptuj, and the Belvárosi Mozi in Szeged participate in a Collaborate to Innovate program titled Regional Synergy for New Cinema Going Experience.

The third cooperating country to be introduced in Szeged is Slovenia. On Slovenian Film Day on May 24, Belvárosi Mozi will welcome those interested with a film and cultural history presentation and typical Slovenian food. The event will feature a selection of short films shot by Slovenian youths and two new Slovenian movies, which appeal most to their age group. The films will be screened with original sound and Hungarian subtitles.
